Join us for a fun-filled Independence Day on the Oregon Coast! The festivities begin with our famously quirky La De Da Parade, featuring creative, people-powered entries that showcase the heart and humor of our community.

Yachats 4th of July Events

Lions Club Breakfast – 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Kick off your 4th of July in Yachats with a hearty breakfast and good company. Enjoy a delicious meal and support a great cause. Suggested donation: $10.

Yachats Farmers Market – 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Stroll through the Yachats Farmers Market and discover fresh local produce, artisan goods, and unique crafts. A perfect way to enjoy the morning and support local vendors!

Salute to Veterans – 11:00 AM
Join us behind the Commons to honor our veterans during this heartfelt 30-minute sing-along and watch as the colors retire for 2025.

La De Da Parade – 12:00 PM
A Yachats tradition! Don’t miss the whimsical, people-powered La De Da Parade. Bring blankets or lawn chairs and find your spot anywhere along Ocean View Drive between W. 7th St. and Beach Ave., or watch from the State Park lawn at the west end of 2nd St. Get ready for fun and surprises!

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs! Great viewing areas include:

• Along Ocean View Drive (between W. 7th St. and Beach Ave.)

• The State Park lawn at the west end of 2nd Street

Ladies Club Hot Dog Sale – 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Grab a tasty hot dog and chips from the Ladies Club for just $5. Find them at the corner of 3rd and Pontiac Street.

Fireworks – Dusk
Cap off your Independence Day with Yachats’ spectacular fireworks show! The display begins at sundown over the mouth of the Yachats River. Find a safe spot and enjoy the show!

Note: No parking at Yachats State Park after 1 PM due to fireworks setup.
