Polly Plumb Productions is proud to present Charles Swank: An Art Happening! August 2nd and 3rd, at the Yachats Commons. This is a followup to the popular Retrospective show this past February that welcomed over 250 visitors. Charles Swank, with an MFA from Yale University, has exhibited on both coasts. This is only his second show in Oregon.

This new show will feature all new work ranging in size from five inches square to five feet square. Be prepared for something different. These are not your usual oceans and sunsets.. They are abstracted geometric visions, beautiful, accessible, and fun. You may experience them as religious, ethereal, to some, psychedelic.  Even if you are not an art aficionado, there is plenty here to surprise and please you, maybe even knock your socks off!

This is not just an art show but An Art Happening! There will be a MYOC table (Make Your Own Collage) where visitors can make their own artwork out of Swank scraps, paints and markers. Live music will be provided by Dangerous Dan & Friends. A variety of bookmarks and tiny paintings will be available to take home for free. Food will be available at the BYOS table (Build Your Own Sandwich). 

Prices for paintings are very reasonable. Smaller paintings will be sold NYOP (Name Your Own Price). Enter the door prize to have a chance at winning a painting of your choice! (A few paintings excluded).
