May 30, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Plastic pollution is one of the leading threats to the health and vibrancy of the world’s oceans. Let’s do our part to clean up the Oregon coast! JOIN US for a beach cleanup, removing trash and plastic from Stonefield Beach State Park!
Please dress for the weather. We encourage you to bring a bucket.
Meet at the West Stone Shelter at the top of the Cape Perpetua scenic overlook –
(also known as Cape Perpetua Day Use Area).
DIRECTIONS: Turn east off Hwy 101 at Cape Perpetua Campground (just north of the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center). After this turn, the road forks – follow the left fork up and continue up the road to the top. At the top you will reach a parking lot with a restroom. Once parked, you can head to the trail where you will find the scenic overlook.
The West Stone Shelter is a short walk from the day use parking area.
