PLEASE NOTE:
The Amanda Trail will reopen on June 4 at 1PM.
Repairs are currently being completed due to a December 2015 landslide/flood that washed out the footbridge and statue. No access to this trail is currently allowed. Donations may be made to the Cape Perpetua Trails Maintenance Program.

Her inspirational story narrates her experience of traumatic injury and recovery following the accident of life and re-birth. Kristin plans to bring her beloved bicycle to the reading. Park at Patterson State Park or park in Waldport to view the festivities from the Historic Alsea Bay Bridge Interpretive Center or along Keady Wayside. Arrive early and build a sand castle, catch Dungeness crab in Alsea Bay, search for sand dollars along miles of sandy beach, toast marshmallows over a bonfire, ride a green bike and then, by all means enjoy the fireworks! The Oregon Coast Gravel Epic offers riders seeking an unvarnished challenge a full day of adventure in the Siuslaw National Forest on the central Oregon Coast. The ride showcases the raw beauty of ancient Siuslaw National Forest scenery and rural coastal communities. This is one of the crown jewels of the Oregon Triple Crown Series of premier and challenging racing and recreational riding events. This event is presented by Oregon Coast Bank and is produced in cooperation with the communities of Waldport and Yachats and with the support Travel Oregon and a number of other outstanding sponsors TBA. The Queen Ann style Keeper's House will be decorated with Victorian flourishes inside and out. Enjoy warm drinks and treats and performances by local musicians. Shuttle service will be offered from Heceta Head Lighstation State Scenic Area parking lot to the front door. MARDI GRAS IN YACHATS
This event kicks off with Gumbo and other New Orleans style food at village eateries. On Saturday night there will be a family dance at the Yachats Lions Hall with the New Iberian's Zydeco Blues Band, and a starlight parade (weather permitting) from the Lions Hall. Silent auction proceeds will benefit a local nonprofit.

VOWS RENEWAL CEREMONY
This is an opportunity for couples to renew their vows in a group setting. Married and unmarried committed couples are invited to attend. The Vows Renewal Ceremony, held annually on February 14, has become a popular fund raiser for the Little Log Church & Museum. Since space is limited, reservations are required. A donation to the museum of $10 per couple is suggested. For reservations couples should call Mary Crook, Events Coordinator, at 541-547-4547. Stay posted for 2017 information.
