MOM & TOTS NATURE WALKS
Last Wednesday of ea month, 1:30-3:00 pm. May 12 thru Sept 29. Please
meet at *Indoor Park in Rm 4 of the Yachats Commons between 1:30 & 2:00 pm. Bring sturdy footwear, a hat, coat,
drinking water, a snack, and a favorite walking stick. Bring a stroller and/or a baby carrier if you wish. Plan to go on
a 1/2 mile or mile walk. Sometimes walks will meander at a snail's pace, stopping to explore along the way. Other times
they will travel at a steadier pace. Times/dates are subject to change due to weather.

VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE
The Queen Ann style Keeper's House will be decorated with Victorian
flourishes inside and out. Enjoy warm drinks and treats and performances by local musicians.
Santa Claus will be there, and Oregon State Parks volunteers will offer
historic tours of the lighthouse. There will be a holiday raffle with great prizes from
local businesses. Shuttle service will be offered from Heceta Head Lighstation
State Scenic Area parking lot to the front door. Or bring warm, rainproof clothing and a
flashlight and enjoy a beautiful walk up from the parking lot/beach. The parking fee

The lightstation is located just 14 miles south of Yachats.

6th ANNUAL DUCK FOR KIDS RACE
1,400+ Rubber Duckies will be launched near the Yachats River Bridge,
just south of downtown Yachats to race down the river! Watch from the beach below the
bridge at Yachats Ocean Road State Park. You may sponsor a duck for $5 or 3 ducks for $10.
The first ducks across the finish line will win fantastic prizes. Beginning mid-June, buy your chance to win

For over 30 years, Yachats has had the privilege of hosting internationally acclaimed
artists of FOUR SEASONS. This magnificent music festival includes 3 days of cameo performances
by 20 to 25 major classical artists. Don't miss this best kept secret on
the Oregon CoaSt Tickets are now available for individual concerts held on
Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings, and a Sunday matinee.
Beginning in June Tickets will be available online or may be purchased in Yachats at the
