  10:00 am - 7:00 & 8:00 pm  Open Houses & Artists' Receptions at The GreenHouse MarketPlace and The Gentle Dragon Join the art galleries, Earthworks, Touchstone, and Synchronicity101, 2222 Hwy 101 (at the N end of town) and The Gentle Dragon, 6251 Hwy 101 (2.5 mi N of Yachats) for their annual open houses. The GreenHouse MarketPlace galleries will be open 'til 7 pm. The Gentle Dragon will have live music & and remain open 'til 8 pm.

Holiday Lighting & Open House
The village lights will sparkle and many businesses will stay open 'til 7 pm, sharing refreshments and holiday cheer! Holiday Lighting sponsored by GoYachats.

  Shoppers' Holiday Raffle Visit our local retail shops, cafes and restaurants and receive a raffle ticket for every $10 you spend between November 25 and December 19. See the printable program (top of this web page) for participating businesses and prizes. The drawing will be held at Bank of the West on Dec 20. You need not be present to win. Sponsored by GoYachats with support from the Yachats Area Chamber of Commerce.

  7:00 pm  Oregon Coast Chamber Orchestra
The Oregon Coast Chamber Orchestra will perform its Winter Concert at the Yachats Community Presbyterian Church, 360 W 7th.
OCCO Winter program tickets go on sale November 7. Individual Concert Tickets, $10 (all venues); Season Tickets, $25. Available in Yachats at Raindogs, 541-547-3000, and at the Newport Performing Arts Center Box Office. Tickets will also be available at the door. Program.

  10:00 am - 4:00 pm  84th annual Yachats Ladies Club Holiday Bazaar Crafts made by Ladies Club members include handknit items, quilts, afghans, home decor, bake sale table, gift baskets and much more. Santa comes to the Lions Hall with a ho ho ho and twinkle in his eye to see who's been naughty or nice. Breakfast includes all you can eat pancakes, eggs over easy, choice of ham or sausage, milk, tea or coffee. Arts & crafts and other activities, including pictures with Santa, provided by the Yachats Youth & Family Activities Program (YYFAP). Yachats Lions Hall, W 4th & Pontiac.

  7:00 - 7:30 pm  Opening Ceremony for Yachats Winter Celebration at the Little Log Church, W 3rd & Pontiac.
7:30 - 8:00 pm The Sweet Adelines sing holiday harmonies at the Yachats Ladies Clubhouse, W 3rd & Pontiac. Refreshments provided by Yachats Ladies Club.

  6:00 - 8:00 pm  Family Dinner and Ornament Making Night  The Yachats Youth & Family Activities Program, in partnership with Yachats Community Presbyterian Church, invites families to join together at the church, 360 W 7th St, for a delicious dinner hosted by the church followed by holiday-themed crafts tables hosted by the Youth Program. This event is free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. FMI YYFAP (541) 547-4599.

  4:00 - 7:00 pm  16th annual Victorian Christmas Open House, Heceta Lightkeepers' House  The Queen Ann style Keeper's House will be decorated with Victorian flourishes inside and out. Enjoy warm drinks and treats, performances by local musicians, and visit from Santa Claus. There will also be a holiday raffle with great prizes from local businesses. Shuttle service will be offered from Heceta Head Lightstation State Scenic Area parking lot to the front door. Or bring warm, rainproof clothing and a flashlight and enjoy a beautiful walk up from the parking lot/beach. The parking fee is $3 or present your Oregon Coast Passport.   6:30 - 10:00 pm  Monmouth Taiko Drummers  Come enjoy an evening of exciting, live musical art. Taiko is the Japanese word for large drum and also means the performance of playing the taiko. Taiko weaves rhythm, melody and movement into a powerful musical art that is best experienced in a live performance. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at Raindogs, Toad Hall, or at the door. Japanese-themed snacks will be available at intermission. Brought to you by the Yachats Academy of Arts & Sciences with support from Friends of the Yachats Commons. A festive concert for the whole family will be presented by the Yachats Village Ringers, performing on three octaves of Handbells and Handchimes. This concert draws a standing-room only audience. Come early for a good seat. Holiday gift baskets for purchase and refreshments will be provided by the Yachats Ladies Club.
