Orin Schumacher is a Forest Ecologist and owner of Environmental Consultants Oregon (E.C.O.). He earned his B.S. in Wildlife Science from OSU and has worked for the BLM, Forest Service and OSU. Orin originally gained his fungal knowledge by attending the Biology of Fungi class at Lane Community College. Since that time, he has led E.C.O. fungal survey efforts for the federal government, led forays for the Cascade Mycological Society, has been a CMS board member and treasurer of CMS and has been instrumental in the Mt. Pisgah Arboretum's Mushroom Show.
