Meredith Allen is an attorney practicing law in Salem. She became interested in mushrooms when she moved to Oregon to attend law school in the mid-90s. She took the mushroom class at Central Oregon Community College in 1998. She has been a member of the Cascade Mycological Society's Board of Directors for six years. She has served as Newsletter Editor, Secretary and currently is President of the Board. This will be the fifth year she has participated in the Yachats Village Mushroom Fest and her third year leading walks.
