Matthew Johnson is an attorney practicing law in Eugene. His interest in mushrooms dates back to the early 80s. In 1990 he took the mushroom class at Lane Community College from Freeman Rowe and has volunteered at the Mount Pisgah Mushroom show since. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Cascade Mycological Society (CMS) in various capacities for the last six years. He is the current editor of Among Fungi, the CMS newsletter. This will be the fifth year he has participated in the Yachats Village Mushroom Fest and his fourth year leading walks.
