Molly Luna Iris had been a field biologist for a number of years before she enrolled in Marcia Peeters' Biology of Mushrooms class at LCC and caught mushroom fever. Molly Luna says, "I once dreaded the cooler temperatures and rains this time of year, but mushroom hunting has transformed the way I experience the fall season in Oregon." This year Molly Iris is assisting Marcia Peeters with her mushroom class. And she is looking forward to lots of mushroom hunting in cool and wet western Oregon all through the fall and winter.
