Guided Mushroom Walks at Cape Perpetua

 

Hourly Shuttle Service is available Saturday and Sunday

from downtown Yachats to the Cape Perpetua Trails.

 

BUS STOPS and TIMES:
  (1) Bank of the West, Hwy 101 & W 5th  (2) Clarks Market sign, Hwy 101 near W 2nd St.

Shuttle bus leaves Yachats for Cape Perpetua once hourly ~ on the half-hour ~ 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

 

  (3) Cape Perpetua Visitors Center

Shuttle bus leaves Cape Perpetua Visitors Center for Yachats once hourly ~ at 15 min. after the hour ~ 10:15 a.m.-4:15 p.m.,

The Festival's guided mushroom walks, introductory level and advanced, will leave from the Cape Perpetua Visitors Center (about 3 miles south of Yachats). Walks are held on excellent easy trails in the spectacular coastal mature and old growth forest of Cape Perpetua. Outdoor clothing, sturdy walking shoes/boots, and rainwear are advised. Limited handicapped accessibility.

DURING FESTIVAL WEEKEND, sign up for walks at the front desk of the Cape Perpeuta Visitors Center -- in person or by phone, (541) 547-3289. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled walk time. SORRY NO ADVANCE (pre-Festival) REGISTRATION FOR WALKS.

Self-guided walks are also possible during festival weekend.

Cape Perpetua Parking Fee $5 (or)
display your Oregon Coast Passport or Siuslaw National Forest Passport.
Passports may be purchased at Cape Perpetua Visitors Center.
