6:00 p.m., Yachats Commons, Hwy. 101 and W 4th St.
Calling all fun-guys and fun-gals to an evening of
delectable mushroom dishes prepared by local chefs. This evening
includes live music, amazing photos of wild forest mushrooms, a
tantalizing desserts auction and silent auction. Proceeds will
be dedicated to a project of the Yachats Youth &
Family Activities Program. (Menu available soon!)

Outdoor market with fresh local produce, fresh and
dried native forest fungi, mushroom food, and local
arts and crafts. (Moved indoors in inclement
weather.) This is the last Yachats Farmers'
Market weekend of the season. For additional

MUSHROOM WALKS ~ CAPE
PERPETUA (PDF File)
Saturday 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 2 p.m.
SHUTTLE SERVICE both days between Yachats & Cape Perpetua
Trails.
Guided mushroom walks, introductory level and advanced, will leave from the Cape
Perpetua Visitors Center (about 3 miles south of Yachats).
DURING FESTIVAL WEEKEND, SIGN UP FOR WALKS AT THE FRONT DESK OF THE CAPE PERPETUA
VISITORS CENTER -- in person or by phone, (541) 547-3289. SORRY NO ADVANCE (pre-Festival)
REGISTRATION FOR WALKS. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled walk time.
Walks will be led by professional and amateur mycologists, forest ecologists and naturalists.
Walks are held on excellent easy trails in the spectacular coastal mature and old
growth forest of Cape Perpetua. Outdoor clothing, sturdy walking shoes/boots, and
rainwear are advised. Limited handicapped accessibility.
Self-guided walks are also possible during festival weekend.

and common name (if it has one).
Limited parking at Cape Perpetua.
Cape Perpetua Parking Fee $5 (or)

National Forest Passport.
Passports may be purchased at Cape Perpetua Visitors
Center.
